The Road Beyond – a live duet performance from myself on looped guitars and Jim Gully on keyboards from our 2007 appearance at the Electro Music festival in Philadelphia that didn’t make it on to the Outer Worlds cd (because we’d run out of space with almost 80 minutes of music on that one). In re-listening to it, I felt like it could have been an instrumental soundtrack epilogue to the narrative portrayed in Will I Ever Pass This Way Again? for the protagonist in that story. I think it captures the emotional turmoil of that journey. For good measure, I added a short spoken word piece at the end that lends a nice resolution to that story. A good and fitting way to end this collection of songs we call “Stones From The Garden”.
